(To enter on 30 September 2019)
Hi all, from the month of October 2019 onwards, I will be tightening my stop loss to 38.2% Fib level of the last weekly bar. I back tested this with my 157 trades done in the last 5 months and found that tightening my stop loss would not only increase my win rate but also allows me to TP or hit SL faster without affecting my risk reward ratio of 1:2+. Due to the tightening of stop loss, I will also have to reduce my capital risk per trade by half due to the larger capital required per trade but I will be taking more trades that I otherwise not have in the past. I am leaning towards the law of large numbers for profitable trading. Let's try this for the next 100 trades to capture the statistics! woo!
Stocks to go long: None
Stocks to go short: AVDL, KOD, UCTT
Interactive Brokers (IB) says there AVDL short stocks may not be available due to lack of stock lenders, therefore it may not fill on IB.
